We all have talents, and uncovering them and developing them can lead to great careers and fulfillment. BCreative helps students K-12 attend creative and arts programs or camps with scholarships that can cover up to 50% of the cost. Your destination doesn’t even have to be a big name camp with dorms; it can be a weekend sculpture class with clay. If you can dream it, we can help you make it a reality.

Please note: All grants and scholarships are awarded on a first come-first serve basis. We have a limited number of dollars to spend each calendar year.

Scholarship Application Requirements

In order to qualify, a student must meet all of the criteria below:

Student, grade K-12
Resident in the Battle Creek metro area, including but not limited to
- City of Battle Creek
- City of Springfield
- Pennfield Township
- Emmet Township
- Bedford Township
The organization receiving the scholarship on behalf of the student must be a 501(c)(3) organization located in the state of Michigan
All funds must be spent in the state of Michigan
Applications must be submitted electronically by 4:00pm on the 15th of the month prior to the program start date, for final review by the committee on the fourth Wednesday of the month
Applications received after the 15th of the month will be reviewed during the subsequent month
Lessons/participation must occur on or after the monthly review date to be considered for scholarships
Students may receive only one scholarship per twelve month period
BCreative scholarships are not based on financial need
